My laboratory investigates the self-organization of the brain matrix of serotonergic axons. Our research is inherently interdisciplinary and spans cellular neurobiology, advanced microscopy (including live imaging with holotomography, super-resolution microscopy), midbrain neuronal cell cultures, comparative neuroanatomy, and the mathematics of spatial stochastic processes (e.g., fractional Brownian motion).
